The general objective of the project:

The general objectives of the project are: at scientific level–improving the knowledge in the field of food science by gathering original internationally recognized scientific results, therefore affirming the prestige of Romanian research through scientific publications in high profile journals, and increasing the success of future scientific collaboration with other international research groups; at human resources level–supporting the local research group to allow reaching the critical mass necessary to be competitive in the international arena, and training young researchers for improving their performance in a high level scientific environment; at economic and social level-the development of food with health benefits, to support national programs that promote accurate, safe and beneficial nutrition as a strategy to improve the quality of life, environmental protection..

The specific objectives of the project:

The aim of this project is to design an effective and practical quality safety monitoring method and traceability system in fishery supply chain based on artificial intelligence and information technology for data acquisition and processing. This aim will be reached by the strategic objectives of the project, as it follows:
1. Evaluation of fishery supply chain;
2. Evaluation of the quality safety and risk of fishery supply chain;
3. Development of the traceability technologies of fishery supply chain;
4. System integration and development;
5. Implementation of the traceability system of fishery supply chain;
6. Dissemination of the research results.
